Salmon Patties

Patties are a great way to get quality protein and healthy fats into your day. Make them in advance, freeze them and use them the following day when you need a quick and easy protein source for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Ingredients
1 can of salmon (preferably sustainable)
1 tbsp ground chia seeds
3 tbsp egg whites
1 tbsp chopped onion
1 tbsp chopped parsley (or caraway seeds)
1 clove garlic (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp himalayan salt
1/2 tsp pepper

 

Method
Combine all ingredients and form patties with your hands.

Place on a frying pan and cook for approx 6 minutes on each side.

Serves 2. Can be eaten for breakfast also.
